Compass tips its hard hat to our very own “Women in Construction”
Take a look at a few highlights of the amazing women on the Compass Team!
Christy is currently managing the $115M Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine project which is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2021 and the new Middleborough and Watertown High School projects. Christy is LEED Accredited, OSHA-10 and MCPPO Certified and has her Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s License. She is a member of the AGC MA Young Contractor’s Institute and is on the Executive Committee of the AGC Building Women in Construction.
Mia is the on-site manager for $115M Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and was the on-site manager for the Boston University Myles Standish Residence Hall project and University of Massachusetts Lowell Coburn Hall. Mia is a licensed Architect, LEED Accredited, OSHA-10 Certified, a member of NCARB and served as Fire Prevention Program Manager on several projects.
Allyson is currently the Project Manager for the new $175M Watertown High School project and the new $100M Stoughton High School project which is in the closeout phase and officially opened in the Fall of 2020. She is MCPPO and OSHA-10 Certified and is a LEED Green Associate.
Emily is currently the Project Manager for the new $109.5M 4-story John F. Kennedy Middle School project in Natick where she is leading this complex phased construction to a successful outcome. Emily is a Certified Construction Manager, LEED and MCPPO Certified and a Mentor for Women in Technology.
Kate is currently the Project Manager for the new $103M Middleborough High School project which will embody 21st century learning with a brand new building and campus consisting of four wings – two 3-story academic wings, a humanities studies wing and a STEAM programs wing. Kate has a Masters in Architecture Degree, is MCPPO and OSHA-10 Certified and is a member of NCARB.
Laureen is currently working on the $57M Upham and $45M Hunnewell Elementary School projects in Wellesley. The state of the art buildings are designed to be net zero ready including all electric mechanical systems and capacity on the roof for photovoltaic panels. Laureen is an Architect and MCPPO Certified and is the Founder and President of the Working Mom’s Playgroup, Inc.
